About the BEC

Headquartered in Northern California, The Black Economic Council (BEC) is a national 501(c)(3) nonprofit established to advance the economic sustainability of Black Americans and other underserved, underrepresented communities of color.

Mission

The mission of the BEC is to ensure and enable Black Americans and other minorities an economic platform that promotes self-sufficiency through structured economic development.

Vision

The vision of the Black Economic Council is to ensure a nation in which all its citizens are afforded economic parity without discrimination based on race or gender.

Objective

The BEC through its SEEPE Initiative provides a pathway to further support the key elements to a prosperous society. The SEEPE Initiative is as follows:
